Neben grundsätzlichen Anregungen zu kreativen Prozessen und der Entwicklung eines Entwurfsansatzes werden verschiedene Inspirationsquellen für eine Entwurfsidee aufgezeigt. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf den drei Elementen Ort, Form und Funktion, die einerseits direkte Ausgangspunkte für den Entwurf bieten können, andererseits bei allen abstrakten Ansätzen in den fortschreitenden Entwurfsprozess einbezogen werden müssen. Design Ideas offers students a variety of different ways to go about finding a design solution. In addition to suggesting fundamental ways to get the creative process moving and develop a design approach, it also proposes various sources of inspiration for design ideas.
