Reducing energy consumption in Germany's housing stock is a key task for the coming years. This requires cost-effective and material-saving solutions. Based on an analysis of three housing estates in Munich, we explain how the goal of reducing CO2 emissions can be achieved without increasing the rent including heating costs.
