"Es ist die grosse Leistung dieses Buches, das Einfache und Unfassliche von Aaltos Architektur fühlbar zu machen. Es bringt Aalto in kein Schema, es macht seine Bauten nicht auf, es bildet sie wohltuend effektlos, ohne photographische Ticks ab. Das Buch ist also ganz im Geiste Aaltos, nobel und undemonstrativ.
