The renowned institute of architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna presents selected student works from the year 2009. The design studios of star architects Zaha Hadid, Greg Lynn and Wolf D. Prix offer students countless possibilities to exhaust architectural parameters across borders. Peter Sellars, Kivi Sotamaa, Hernan Diaz Alonso and Francoise Roche have successfully developed new typologies of architecture together with the students from the cross-over studio. This prepares students for the challenges in their future position as dynamic architects from Central Europe.

IOA Studios. Hadid Lynn Prix

Wolf D. Prix was born in 1942 and studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology, at the Architectural Association in London and at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles. He is one of the founders of COOP HIMMEL(L)AU. He has been a full professor of architecture since 1993 and has served as the chairman of the Architecture Institute of the Vienna University of Applied Arts since 2003.
