The Mexican Roof Revisited is a sequel volume to the book "The Mexican Roof" (out of print). The former book documented a student's project of Wolf D. Prix's class at the University of applied Arts in Vienna. Wolf D. Prix was born in Vienna in 1942. He is one of the founders of COOP HIMMELB(L)AU. He studied at the Vienna University of Technology, the Architectural Association in London and the Southern California Inst. of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles. He was appointed a full professor at the Vienna University of Applied Arts in 1993. Prix has also been a member of the board of the Vienna Institute of Architecture since 2003. He is the head of Studio Prix and the vice-president of the Vienna University of Applied Arts.
